A friend was visiting the other day. One of his jobs is detailing cars, his little side, 'business', if you will.
He just mentioned, 'I need to get a new shop vac"!
I showed him the Sanitaire toolbox commercial vac. He was impressed that it was so 'compact' and portable. He's picking it up the next time he comes over.
Another one down. The verb here in the house is PURGE...
It's a win/win. He's getting a new cleaner for his job, I'm getting it out of here and making a few $$. Good news all around.

The Sanitaire toolbox vacuum is similar to the 3M copier-printer vacuum. These were meant for copier, printer techs for cleaning out toner from those devices. And the toolbox like design you could carry the attachments or other common tools in the vacuum. The 3M vacuum used special filter cartridges instead of bags. The filter cartridge would hold about 4 Qts of debris. When the filter was full-you replaced it with a new empty one.The filter is a plastic "box" with a pleated filter inside. One end has the opening for the hose-other an opening that fits over the motor intake. The filter is clear so you se that its full.Don't know what the Sanitaire uses.

Yes,sort of similar to the 3M vacuum-the "toolbox" vacuum appears to have a reusable dump bag-would NOT want to use that with toners!Does Sanitaire offer a filter bag that could be used to pick up toners? It would appear this vacuum may be liked by copier-printer repairmen. The 3M machine did not have floor tools and wands.Just the hand tools.Dust brush, crevice tool, and a very long, narrow tool for tiny places in copiers, printers. The crevice tool on the 3M vacuum had the brush insert at the end of its crevice tool like the one on a Kirby.
