Hey guys! I haven't been around in quite some time - but some updates on my collection/being 16. First off, I'm getting rid of my Kirby GSix in pieces (handle, motor unit, floor nozzle, bag, and shampooer/instruction VHS. I can't justify walking into the Post Office wrestling a box gargantuan enough to hold the whole machine. So, if any of you are interested in any of these items make me an offer please - I take PayPal. Secondly - how many of y'all are 16? I got my first car recently. A 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SLE, almost completely loaded. Pictures will follow, feel free to share your vehicle as I'm a car guy and love to discuss such matters. Cheers!

Would that ever be nice! Sorry you had to let it go. I got my bonny for $2, 500 with 109, xxx miles. It books at $4, 9xx. The guy was down on his luck so I bought it.

During the time of owning your GTO were you so lucky to have random backlighting issues on the instrumentation/radio? I just pulled the radio out of my Bonneville to replace the display bulbs. It's a huge pain, but also not being able to see information/stations is even more so.

Of Course I Remember You!

I'm glad to see you back. Your posts are intelligent, and I always appreciate that. I too am 16 years old, although unlike you, I am without a car. I couldn't care less though, as I'd rather use a bike and reduce carbon emissions and fuel consumption.  The price of gas sure does add up!

I've shipped a Kirby before, and they are  probably one of the easier vacuums to ship since the handle can be removed. You might be able to get more it as a single unit, and the Post Office is usually the cheapest when it comes to shipping heavy and large boxes. eBay will give you slight discount if you pay for postage through them.

Thanks for the advice on the bulbs kirbykid! I just soldered new ones into the board yesterday and it looks beautiful again! For me shipping it as one unit is just too much. I can't find a suitable box. I'll take your advice and keep looking for one however. By the way - despite gas being expensive, I get 30+ on the highway and 18-19 in the city miles per gallon with my pontiac. It gives me a commanding feel on the road similar to driving a Suburban, minus the poor gas mileage lol!

I've heard of it, never known what it was. That 3800 Series II was the best V6 GM ever derived. Tons of torque on the low rpm band, doesn't have to work at all to get 3,600 lbs moving:)
