Lesinutah, it is a bit newer than that. This is one of the Euro-Pro Fantoms, not one of the originals.

Countryguy, a photo of the ratings plate might make it easier to date the machine.

I know these like the back of my hand!

These were some of the first Fantoms made under Euro-Pro ownership. These machines along with the Sanyo built Twister were introduced around 2002 and were initially sold via HSN. They were only sold for a couple years before being replaced by the not as good, but still decent Falcon machines. Then around 2003 or 2004 Shark/Fantom reached an agreement with K-Mart to be the exclusive sellers of these machines until around 2006 when they were sold at Target and Euro-Pro launched their own online store, the Target agreement didn't last long as after 2007 they reverted back to being K-Mart only, then in 2009(?) the deal expired and they started being sold in stores like Wal-Mart and Lowes.

Weird

I seen a sanyo canister exactly like this on eBay recently. There is two euro sharks very similar to these.
I mentioned the year Fantom flopped.
I would dare say look for a sanyo, shark or another rebrand and it would be the same power nozzle. You may have a hard time finding one.
