I was dropping off a few things at a thrift store i don't usually go to and just had to go see what they had, i saw a black handle with a hose running down the center and had to check it out. I've had two Fantom Thunders before, but i remember someone saying the Cyclone XT was a better machine so i picked it up and now that i've got it home it's airflow and suction seem kinda...weak. I've washed out the cyclone assembly cleaned the pre motor filter, removed the hepa filter to see if that would make a significant difference which it didn't seem to. My thunder was like this too which makes me wonder has anyone else had a problem with weak suction and airflow on one of these?

Blockages

I've checked for them i can't see any tried using a FQ to blow out the tube before the dirt cup air seemed to flow through there just fine

Wow....

90 inches would put it close to a filterqueen or tristar my fantom is not anywhere near that i tried removing the hepa filter and i had about the same results i'm gonna have to take it apart and check it out something has got to be wrong with it somewhere

That could be it i'm thinking if anywhere it's got to be right above the dust cup cause if i remove the cup it's strong at the inlet hmm...well the gasket is there but now i noticed something i ran it without the cup just the cyclonic shroud it's strong through the 2nd cyclone but if i plug that off there's to no airflow through the shroud... *pulls out screwdriver* no problems there that i can see...
