Mine, the Golden PowerTouch says 9-6-74.
You totally rock.. Thanks for the info I had no clue about....
Now I thought It's on the metal machines, what about the plastic based ones....So I flipped over my Brandywine Cordaway, and it says... 79 only around the same mold area. No other numbers are visible.
So that means that it was built in 79 then aparantly, but no indication on what month or date there is...
Then I checked the Wide Track Multi-Beat Montgomery Wards, and that says... nothing. In the space where the numbers should be are a ton of little hash marks that radiate out from the center nipple.
Then I looked at my Eureka Twin Power Automatic model 260, and there is nothing like that under the base. So...
Go figure....
