Eureka Rally - need to change belt. Please help!

I have a Eureka Rally canister vacuum, & I need to change the belt on it. My problem is, I cannot get the cover off the area where the brush/belt is! I did this before several years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember how. I know it just pops off somehow.

Use a long phillips screw driver to remove the two screws near the rear wheels. The hood should just lift right off.
