Wow! It looks similiar but not the same as a Eureka model M
that I have. Mine dose not not have the wider width to the
top, the light and the nozzle. That model tag looks exactly
the same but I did not ck numbers to see if the're the same.
I got mine off ebay, somewhere in Flordia. Oh mine has
two stationary wheels (not swivel) on the back. I'm assuming
it may be a little more expensive org. or the next series to
come out. Guessing date to be late 30's or early 40's. As I
have a D-272 which was late 40's early 50's. I actually bought both on ebay, paid about $38.00 each plus shipping.
They are not real common like Hoovers and other brands of those cica. Go for it! Good luck!

About the M

The Eureka M debuted in approximately 1935 and stayed in the Eureka line-up for several years, going through painted versions and alterations, and eventually morphing into the D272. A wonderful vacuum. Those back dual wheels are kiler, aren't they? Looks like that one needs some rewiring!

Yes, I've seen one painted in fire-engine red [factory original], with a red bag to match. Rubber trim was white, with the usual black wheels and cord.
