Eureka cord reel

When I first got my brandy wine upright the plug had been replaced and whoever put the cordwinder back knotted the cord making it really short. I tried to unwrap the cord and in the process broke the winding spring. Could anyone give me a part number of the reel. I know it's a long shot and I believe the manufacturer has been shut down so it will be a waiting game but it'll be worth it for my early make! Thanks for your help!

I found that cordomatic made electrolux cordreels for some early models. Would it be possible to take the guts from an elux reel and put it on my cordaway or are the parts not compatible?

Upon further inspection

It looks like the reel says cordomatic model 593s. Does anyone with more knowledge on the topic know if that is the correct model or did I read only part of the number?
