I would estimate the time frame for Eureka’s 200 series uprights was from 1947 to about 1967 or 1968.  That’s when the new 2000 series of uprights was launched with the debut of the Vanguard with the box-top bag and CordAway.  If I remember correctly, the last 200 series was the 271, then the jump was made to the model 2070.
