Thanks! Congrats on retrieving your friend's Cinnamon Model 5071 from the trash can. That model succeeded the Model 5070 in 1981 that had the ESP switch by the Rugulator. The 5071 was manufactured through 1989. I'm not sure what Type yours is, but I think the 5071-A (and possibly -B) had a 6.2-amps motor—presumably like the 5070—versus the Types D & E equipped with the 6.7-amps motor.


To answer your questions: 1) I was unable to find any advertisements featuring a Sanitaire self-propelled model.  2) The other '80s Eureka uprights I own are the models 1458-D and 2124-A "Imperial".

Brian, that would maybe inspire some more Eureka collecting if others tried to color match their favorite foods and vacs/polishers/shampooers!
