If it's like the older cloth hoses here in the States the handle rides on an insert and is held in place by a metal ring that you can wedge a small screwdriver under and pop out. The machine end doesn't come off, it's held on by an insert that is expanded at the factory. The Electrolux dealers use to have a tool to repair the hose but I haven't seen one of those.Good Luck with the hose.
