Electrolux Turbo Stair Tool & Little Lux

On Ebay there are lots of turbo stair tools--many are identical but are each described in different listings as being a certain brand.

Does/did Aerus/Electrolux USA make a turbo stair tool? If so, please tell about it and whether you would recommend buying one. I did get a clear and black Hoover one for $1.50 at a second-hand store, but it doesn't work (probably needs a new belt).

Also, when was the Little Lux (II) made? Is it still made? Would it be a good purchase?

stair tool is not a turbo tool. It is electrical. Aerus/Electrolux has never made a turbo tool. When a cleaner's power is reduced so does the performance of the turbo tool. The Lil Lux ll hand vac is still sold and is loved by many owners that have it. I am sorry I can't recall the year it came out.

Thanks for the info. tig21er. I wish I could get some more info. on the Little Lux series to know its quirks, changes, colors, noise factor, etc.

Also, I looked on the Aerus website but didn't find it. Maybe stores are just selling their overstock at this point. Besides, if Aerus were still making them in the factory they probably wouldn't be called "Little Lux" but maybe "Aerus Junior".
