If I know Nathan like I think I do, he will go through that vacuum top to bottom to ensure you will have a great runnning machine for years to come! Nathan knows his vacuums and I trust his knowledge and expertise on them; plus if he tells you something, he will do it. I purchased a Model G from him a few years ago for my mother-in-law and it's running flawlessly! While $100 sounds steep, you are getting a quality vacuum that has been thoroughly checked out and guaranteed to be good. On the other hand, you could purchase one from eBay, pay that much or more for it, and have it shoot a fireball out of it the second you plug it in (trust me, I've been there!).
