I may have an opportunity to buy an Olympia 2 with the cord reel at the back, I've never seen that model or something similar before. Is it a rare model, or is it because it is an American model and I live in Canada?

The one for sale doesn't have its hose, would it be the same type of hose that fits a SUperJ ?

Nah, that one's not too rare. It was the budget version of the Olympia, having no automatic system, a less powerful motor, and no integrated cord winder. It does take the same hose and bags as the Super J, and if it runs well and is being sold at a decent price, then I highly recommend that you go get it.

Thank you Adin, she's asking 40$ for it, I find it a bit steep for a vac without its hose or any attachment. I don't know if it works well or not.

I don't know why you say it doesn't have an integrated cord reel, the white rear section is obviously the cord reel compartment?

$40 is a good price, especially if you already have tools and a hose to fit it. The cord winder was optional. Those Special models came standard with a cord halo, and if the customer wanted a cord reel, they could add it on. The Olympia has the cord winder integrated into the machine, while the Special models had the cord winder as an add on.

I already own three SuperJs, and I have 5 hoses that could fit, not all in great shape, but I'll see what I'll do IF I buy it. It won't be an easy one, it's a bit far from my place.

Thanks but 34.99 US dollars, it is not less than 40 Canadian dollars, probably between 45 and 50 Can $, plus 20 can $ for shipping, not a great deal for me.
