Hello,

The pic below shows a set of Model XXX attachments. I have never seen the one with the tan bumper before. Can someone tell me about it?

Hi Kevin.

That is not a XXX tool, I think it's either model XI, or XII, but I've never seen it either might be the one before the standard one in front, but this is just a guess.

Hi rugsucker.

In all my years being around attachments for Electrolux's,  62, and counting, I've never seen one with a sliding brush. It is not model XXX, that I can tell you, but could be models V XI or XII, and possibly model XX, but I doubt it. Frankly I'm stumped.

I agree with Rugsucker on this. I can say with absolute certainty that Electrolux never made a slide-on brush attachment like the one in the photo. Many other manufacturers did, including Kirby in the early days before their gray plastic attachments went into production.

Some clever person just decided to attach an Electrolux upholstery nozzle to a slide-on brush from a different cleaner, and they were just lucky that it fit!

Thanks to all for your responses. Would someone please explain what a slide brush is? Was it based on a similar concept of Electrolux's floor/rug tools? Were the slide brushes around a long time?

Hi Kevin.

As rugsucker said, Filter Queen.

I knew there was something familiar about the tool, bur couldn't see the forest for the trees. It's an upholstery tool, that somebody outfitted with a Filter Queen brush. Hoover used them too as did the attachments for the Air-Way uprights, but theirs snapped on.
