I brought this lovely little machine out of the closet to photograph it since I found out they aren't common. The original hose is tucked safely away but I have all the attachments that came with this model.

The Model S =is= a lovely little machine, very sweet and dainty! But don't let outward appearances fool you; she has a ferocious appetite!
Two fun things you can do with a Model S:
1. Remove the front cover and bag. Place the motor unit on a hard-surface floor. Turn it on. Watch it slowly roll across the floor, its jet-propulsion power pushing it along.
2. Remove the front cover and bag. Turn the motor on. Stick the front opening against a hard-surfaced, smooth wall. Walk away. See it stick to the wall!!

Quite some time ago, I found a model S on the curb; unfortunately I didn't find the hose, wands or tools. The S was on the curb because its previous owner either was too lazy to change the bag or thought is too old. I cleaned the S inside & out, put in a new 4-ply bag & connected a new genuine coiled vinyl non-electrified hose & pulled out TONS of dirt when I was vacing houses. I can't believe I ended up filling not one, but a few bags full of dirt during ONE vacing session; & using only the flip combo rug/floor tool, combo dusting/upholstery tool & aluminum wands for vacing! It seems like whoever lived in those houses that I cleaned either didn't clean the house at all or their vacuum wasn't working properly.
If the S had a PN connection, I'd use a PN5 or PN6 & a Wessel Werk HEB160; & of course a genuine Electrolux electrified coiled vinyl hose

Sticks to the Walls
Remove the front cover, turn on motor, and the model S will stick itself to the walls. Now that's 535 watts of power.

New Life for the Electrolux Model S
It's alive! Decades ago my Mom told me the Electrolux Model S ( the only tool of domestic cleaning I ever liked ) was no longer working. She had stopped using it once the family bought an upright Kirby. The Kirby made so much noise that I never wanted to buy or use an Upright Vac.
50 years later, Mom needed to go to a nursing home, and my sister finds the Model S, with all attachments, squirreled away in a closet. She mailed it to me and Varoom! it fires right up. It's not so great with thick carpets, but it sure sucks up the dust bunnies on flooring and other surfaces.
