Electrolux Model R on eBay

<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">Since I like the Electrolux "budget" models, the Model R has always been a favorite. I was verrrrry tempted by this one on eBay. Overall, it's in really nice condition, especially the hose.</span>


 


<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">But I noticed the photos are date-stamped 2007. That's four years ago. I wonder if the machine is still in the same condition. Probably not, especially the hose, if it's been in use all this time.</span>

I considered buying one of those at the local vacuum shop. It looked nice other than a huge dent in one side. Paintloss wasn't very bad, and metal was intact and looked clean.

Didn't know what it was at the time. Thought it was some version of the E.

Regarding the datestamp, it could simply be that the seller hadn't set the time and date on the camera after a period of disuse, I know I have to to make sure my photos come out with the right datestamp in the file properties, so they could have been taken just before the auction, just the camera settings were wrong...
