Hello,

I recently saw a Electrolux photo timeline which listed three colors for the Model G: aqua, tan, and beige (or something similar). If you have photos showing the difference of the last two colors please post them to this thread along with any texted clarification.

There were three colors...

BUT they were Aqua, tan and White,"Hospital G", 1960-1966, tan 67-68, Hospital G white with turquoise trim, 64-66, white with tan trim, 67-68.

Hans,

Thanks for the information. I now think that the poster's information was inaccurate. Until I saw it, I was only aware of the two colors (aqua and brown)-- besides the hospital Gs. I wonder if there was some confusion with the tan Model Ls?

Would you please clarify your hospital model colors above? My interpretation:

1960-63 ?
1964-66 white with turquoise trim
1967-68 white with tan trim

There were only 2 Hospital model G's. One is the turquoise trim and one is the bronze trim. Just like the standard household model G's. One turquoise, and one bronze. The only difference in the turquoise models is the location of the power nozzle receptacle (early ones had the receptacle in the front door, later ones along the side by the front wheels).

Tom,

Thanks for the clarification and the photo--wow! I am guessing the hospital Gs were not that successful, or they would have kept manufacturing them all these years--too bad.
