The folks who threw down Big Bucks for this Electrolux Model 20 apparently didn't notice that the rear-end has been painted. This becomes even more obvious when looking at all the photos the guy posted in his listing -- the last one shows a 20 with the correct and original paint -- a purplish-gray wrinkle finish. So either he has two of them and inadvertently included a photo of the second one, or the last photo is older than the others, taken before the machine was painted.

Electrolux 20

Charlie,
The front and back do not look right and also the top trim from the handle forward looks strange. My grandparents was all painted in the gray finish of the main body as was the op of the fuller brush tool.

Yes, you're right -- the top piece has been painted in silver hammertone or wrinkle-finish. Mine is like yours, the same gray paint as the body. Mine is in good condition with alkl original paint, but it lacks the original handle. Apparently the rubber that Electrolux used was inferior and disintegrated over the years. I had another one once upon a time that had also been replaced.
