I have the original hose for my Electrolux '89 which has the pigtail and trigger switch on the handle. The hose leaks air and I was wondering is it possible to take the handle and machine connector ends with the pigtail off the hose and put them on a vinyl replacement hose? I remember I asked my Aerus dealer once about doing this and of course they said no way, can't be done, you have to buy a new hose. Well the new hoses don't have the trigger switch for the power nozzle which I would like to keep.Gary
