Your best bet may be a new hose...
You haven't specified which end of the hose you're working on. If you are trying to remove and replace the connector on the end that attaches to the vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, it is not a user replaceable part. It was permanently attached at the factory. Even Aerus/Electrolux dealers can't fix them.
If you are working on the other end of the hose, which connects to the wand and/or tools, you're in better luck. The grip is easily removable. Just remove the two screws on the underside and carefully lift off the cover they hold in place, starting at the end closest to the metal tip so that the end closest to the hose itself comes off last. Be gentle because that cover is fragile. Once that is removed, the grip slides right off.
All that said, if the hose you're working with is a woven one, chances are it's shot anyway. They tend to deteriorate from the inside and leak badly. There is no real way to repair that. If the hose looks presentable, it's okay for display purposes but if you want to actually use the cleaner, your best bet is to go ahead and get a good, genuine Electrolux vinyl replacement hose. They aren't cheap but they're well worth the cost. You'll be amazed how much the performance of your vacuum improves with a new hose in place. Decent used ones show up on eBay at affordable prices. Be patient and persistent and you'll find what you need.
