VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I suggest, if you want to get a generic Electrolux hose that will last, that you buy this basic hose in the link that has the metal handle & pigtail cord. Virtually impossible to break the hose handle, still has a suction release valve, & the Sidekick will work with no problem since you have to plug the pigtail into the plug on the Sidekick. Virtually the ONLY way you could break this hose is if you leave the hose on the wand when storing the vacuum....since the hose is made of waxy vinyl material, it will crack & break if the hose is stored on the wand. Or, if you buy the version with the crushproof hose material, it will bend & have a permanent crease. However, don't leave the hose on the wand, & no problem! :-)
