Hello and thank you all for allowing me to join. My wife decided to vacuum a pile of small gravel that got all scattered in our 6500 SR. I took it all apart to clean it up and lost track of the white and black wires, some doubled wires. I marked the motor case "black" or "2whites" or "3black" but I did not mark the wires. Does anyone have a diagram for this one? Thank you, Paul

It is somewhat similat to the Electrolux 2100 series plastic canisters

Take a look at this diagram, which was recently redone in the last few months:

I have a diagram I updated myself for the 2100 series if interested.

wiring is easy once you know what you are looking at.

The motor cover should have an indentation near the terminal.

This marks the separation between the "hot" and "neutral" circuits.

 In simple terms:

Bag door:

The bag door wires should have one side going to "hot", and the other to "neutral". These will usually be piggybacked onto another terminal.

bag lockout & power switch:

These wires go the neutral/white side only.

for the ones with the controls on top

wire for bag check light goes to neutral, wire for overheat light goes to hot.

My pics are for a basic 2100. Look at the diagram from evacuumstore for reference
