I recently bought a very nice Olympia One for only $5, complete with its power nozzle, hose and most of the attachments (the dusting brush is the only one missing). The vacuum works extremely well, with great suction.
However, I find that its cordwinder isn't working, and that its cord has been wrapped with tape as well.
How hard is it to go into this generation of cordwinders to replace the cord and get everything working right again? I've been into a Model L cordwinder, which I got working perfectly again, but the later "built-in" cordwinders are a lot different, at least from the outside.
Does anyone have any instructions or tips for getting into this thing and getting it right again?
Thanks in advance -
