Is there ANY way I can make my Electrolux 2100 100% better SEALED?

I feel exhaust air coming out thru the handle, Automatic Control panel & by the cord area

I want ALL EXHAUST air to be filtered instead of unfiltered exhaust coming throughout everywhere around the vac

Does any other 2100 & plastic Lux tank (Epic 6000/6500/7000/Lux Legacy; UltraLux 80th Anniversary, Epic 5000/5500; Lux Classic/Ambassador/Diplomat) users/owners notice this?

I'm afraid there is little you can do

Those machines were designed in the early 1980's before "sealed" systems were a goal to shoot for. The entire machine would have to be re-engineered on the inside to totally seal it. All the myriad connections and part joints would have to be redone.

I suppose one COULD take it apart and spray some kind of canned sealant product inside the areas that need it but I would be afraid it would damage something or cause overheating.
