Eatons branded Hoover

Eaton's was one of Canada's largest department store chains from 1869 to 1999. I guess it was like our Montgomery Wards and JC Penney department store chains where they made cheaper & less equipped name brand vacuums for a budget price to sell in their store, and put their name on it selling it as their own.

Very strange that Eaton's did not use their usual "Eaton Viking" store brandname on this Hoover. Almost 90% of Eaton Viking cleaners were made by Eureka in their Canadian Onward Manufacturing plant in Kitchener, Ontario. Some Vikings were also made by Regina and Switson. But this is the very first time I see a Hoover branded as Eaton's "Renown"! Amazing find!
