That hose is too short. Sometimes -- as a cheaper way to go than a new hose -- vac shops would cut some length off the end and re-attach the handle or motor-end coupler (as the case may be) when the hose started fraying.

The motor-end coupler on this one is intact (the metal collar inside is still there), so part of it must have been cut off from the handle end.

The seller states it's "about 6' 7" long." That means about 5" is missing because it should be 7' long from end to end.

Otherwise, it appears to be in fairly good condition cosmetically; however, one never knows how good a seal it has.
