We got this one refurbished and unfortunately since it's my wifes toy never caught the fact it won't recline enough until after the warranty period. In short it acts just like the usual pen or stick in the lower tube but it itsn't that. I have fixed our other 2 Dysons as they died or wore out but can't get this one. I pulled it down as far as I dare without a tutorial or diagram. Something internally is blocking inside the main frame at the joint.
If it went another 10 degrees it would be something you could live with but when you push your arm out there it lifts just enough to make me growl. That and of course it won't fit under anything like a bed at all. I have looked for a couple years on the net, Youtube ect and haven't seen anything to address this irritating problem.
