Here is another mystery ...

In the Which 1963 Vac test there is reference to a couple of models made by a company called Duco. Does this ring any bells with anyone. Apparently (from memory) there was a cannister and an upright, again from memory called a Junior, but no connection with Hoover. They never seem to have appeared again after this date, and I did wonder if it was a short lived re launch from the pickings of Vactric after it went bust, but this is just speculation.
Any ideas ...

Al im not sure

but like i mentioned earlier my grandad had a winton junior cylinder which was very much like the vactric and the phoenix and the mercury. I did ask for info on this last year and someone did give me something but i cant remember off hand maybe duco was a spin off off of this because i remember whoever told me this said they were connected. the hoses and tubes were skinnier than lux/hoover/goblin etc
