just totally cleaned the inside of my d33 filter queen
has all motor gaskets & secondary off & cleaned
wiped carbon from motor
brushed dust & blew it out

its all clean now

wondering why the brush on the right has a different appearance
color is sort of like it has a bit or corrosion.

Its the same motor as the other I took apart
same numebers on top
but this unit serial # starts D5...
power nozzle has a 78 sort of dat so think its a 78

this is the model 31 filter queen

these motors look same
but the 33 motor was cleaner
I've cleaned this one as much as I can.
Brushes look similar to the other

hard to see but think even this motor looks better than the 86 rusty one

so I might just switch the metal top & pedal switch into this one & it will be whole. Can then slowly find the needed parts for the newer model as I clean that badly rusted motor
so I figure that one had to have sucked up water

maybe the brushes are down?

Looks like less on the newest motor & added a power cord to.

Heres the 1986 brushes
look thicker

if the other is getting to a end
guess they should be changed?

that shouldn;t be too hard...
