I came across one of these in my grandparents garage i guess they used it a couple times and forgot about it, it was extremely dusty and i thought for sure it was trash they just didn't throw away but i was board so i washed the bag and cleaned the machine with a couple Clorox wipes and it came out working well though the first couple of times it had a very distinct garage smell
Anyway it's not a terrible machine for what it is, generally use it on the front carpeted stairs as it's easier and lighter to use then my Kirby (though the Kirby cleans better, so i still use it from time to time) it's not a terrible choice if you have carpated stairs you need to clean quickly from time to time
