My neighbor down the street that threw away that 16 gallon Craftsman a few weeks ago, which I picked up, I noticed had put some more stuff at the curb. One was a Dirt Devil hand vac. If it’s still there on my way to work in the morning (which I imagine it will be), I’ll probably grab it.

I noticed it had the hose inserted in the front port and a crevice tool on the hose. So I’ll probably need one of those caps to go over the hose intake/belt access in order to use the brushroll.

Well this ended up being a funny story.

I had intended to grab that hand vac on the way to work, but the next morning it was gone along with all the other stuff they’re me set out.

I was a bit disappointed but kind of forgot about it.

So tonight, I went for my evening walk and the hand vac re-appeared, but good time sans hose and crevice tool, but further down the street, sort of between the house that originally put it at the curb and the next door neighbor.

This time I decided to grab it. It was getting dark so I didn’t get a chance to test it.

My guess the neighbor next door to them grabbed that stuff, and for some reason kept the hose and crevice tool but decided to put the rest at the street. So maybe it doesn’t work? I guess we shall see.

I have to say it is kind of funny though that it showed up again!
