Evening Fellow VacuumLanders, I don't remember the last time I started a New thread here! I think the last one I started was with the Brand-New 1988 Heritage II I acquired some time ago!

I just got done cleaning my flooring (With the PENNCREST polisher, too, John!) and the thought of the infamous Hoover Floor-Washer came to mind. I've been using an old and tattered Steam-Vac to pick-up the grey water, and I'm set to build a better way at retrieving said grey water. I LOVE the System the Floor-Washer used of depositing water into a bag! My question to you, Hoover fans, is HOW the Floor-Washer was able to deposit water into a vinyl bag, when vinyl in not a permeable material, one that will not allow air (Nor water) to pass trough? A pump system, perhaps? clever air path design? I'd love to know!

I think, again, this is a big guess, but I think it was a dirty air system of some sort, with the water flowing through the fan, being dropped into the bag and then the air escaping out vents at the top.
