The Swedish word for vacuum cleaner is “dammsugare”. Apparently there is a traditional Swedish mini-cake by that name that looks like a little Electrolux canister vacuum!!! This should definitely be on the menu at any of Vacuumland’s conventions or mini-meets! They are like little mini dessert chocolates!

And in Sweden, the desserts are called “dammsugare”….

See one recipe below…

Of course, John! Go ahead and include it! There has to be a gazillion ways to modify these treats and even make them look more like Electroluxes… maybe a little strip of chocolate on top like a handle? 😋

this inspires me!

Maybe i've been watching too much "Nailed It" but these make me think....vacuum shaped cake. It might be easy to produce some designs like a lux tank, an older eureka canister, perhaps a hoover coffee can, Airway... I certainly don't have the decorating skills to pull it off well But I may try anyways!

Indeed, an easy cake would be any of the round disc shaped vacs: definitely that famous Sunbeam canister, or the Oreo shaped Eureka Crown Princess, or a Hoover Celebrity.

I can imagine little rum balls made to look like mini Constellations!
