Yeah I'd imagine the motor is stronger than what was used in the 4000/6000. From the testing I've done it's stronger than the JEI motor used in the latest guardian upright. Here are the specs at the bag chamber for both. Interestingly the Proteam did better in testing with it's OEM paper bag vs the V.A.C. hepa, it seems the bag collar may be a tish larger on the OEM

Proteam: 113.03 76"

Lux Guardian: 107.37 69"


Now when we get to the nozzle that changes due to the proteam having a narrower airpath:

Proteam: 73.47 16"

Guardian: 79.63 20"


and of course it's not quite as powerful as my Legacy upright with the Henry motor in it but the convenience of the onboard hose makes it a better candidate for a daily driver.


As for the extension hoses, I've got 3. I had two (one for whatever and one for my Metro) but ran across another one for 3.99 recently
