I saw this article on Flickr and thought many of you over here may enjoy this. Michael Paul Smith has created a fictitious mid-century model town, and photographs it with his collection of model cars. This is one the coolest things I've ever seen.

These photos are beautiful. Everything is just right. The lighting, the angle, and the amazing level of detail. I wonder how long it takes to do a scene? Thank you for posting this. Very enjoyable!

Amazing!

These look more correct than many high budget movies.--The scenes with cars and billboards reminds me of a small poster I have seen but do not have.There is a series of vintage oversize brown tone photos that are sometimes seen at antique malls and flea markets that feature cars,sports,old downtown buildings,etc.One showed a used car lot in a downtown area that had a billboard in the background for the first Hoover Constellation and cars that were mid 50s and older.Does anyone remember or have this??
