Today I went to the infamous Hoover store in Houston (the same store that gave me the wrong $%@!^$% bearings for the Convertible and Junior) to order new agitator endcaps, and some of the new machines were on display. The Constellation in Pearl White had arrived since the last time I was there as well. It seems like a good, well-made machine, a little on the noisy side (while the turbo nozzle adds to it, the main unit is definitely not as quiet as a vintage one) but worth the MSRP. You would NOT believe, however, that they wanted $289.99 for one! Seems obvious that the store's definitely trying to pocket a little change on the side.
