Concept One Bag Removal

Hi everyone, I just got a Hoover Concept One off a Craigslist add for $10. I really like it and think it is an excellent addition to my collection (I have 9 vacuums in total which isn't a lot compared to some users but my parents sure think it is!), when I got it the zipper on the bag was stuck, I was able to get it open it but I removed the zipper in the process, now the bag won't close. I've decided to get a new bag because when I put on new zippers it won't close. I'm trying to take the old bag off but I'm not sure how to, I've managed to remove the bag from the base but that's it, and I don't want to break anything by doing something wrong. Please help.

P.S. My model is U3317 in Burgundy I believe.

Concept One

To remove zipper bag-Remove paper bag,fill tube,2 screws at bottom(already done),then on the white rounded plastic part that the fill tube connects to look for 2 oval slots that go toward the front of vac.Insert a flat screwdriver and gently move the 'hook' that holds white part at bottom of recess toward the outside edge.It will then unsnap and pull backward.The upper part with spring is 2 pieces that unsnap.You will then see top & bottom edges fold under and fit in slot-Happy Hoovering.

Yesterday. I was very exitedto finally find something there there was also a really beat up Hoover elite there too. Now I know this is the highest version of the concept 2. Any other details on this machine?
