Well, I got the compact apart and have given the case a facelift. Here it is ready for reassembly. As for the motor, I had a heck of a time getting the fan case off (someone had super glued it) and of course it almost exploded apart when I finally got it. Brushes look real good but the bearings were shot. Replaced those and now I am not sure exactly how the fan blades go back together. Not sure if I am missing something. Anyone happen to have a diagram of this?
