Hello! I got this commercial vac and the customer that let me keep it told me that the brushroll would not spin. I looked at it and I put it back together and it worked fine, but then it would make this high pitched noise when I use it after a while. I put WD40 on the rod that goes inside the brush roll, but that would not help. My question is,

Where can I get a replacement?>

How can I get the noise to stop?

ANY ADVICE would be appreciated.

I would check the bearings in that brush again. The inner race of the bearing should spin with the shaft easily. If the bearings are rough they can seize after running awhile, then the shaft spins inside the bearing race instead of with the race. If the bearings look blueish, then that is a dead giveaway that the shaft is spinning in the bearing and building up heat.

I am on vacation this week, but if you will call me at the vacuum cleaner factory outlet store at the Tacony factory next week, I can get you a brand-new one.
