cleaner out the motor in hoover 105 model

do know how to clean out the motor in hoover model 105? i open top to see inside look like grease or oil mix with dirt. i clean out some of it but did not want to damages the motor. see any you ideas how to clean out safe or what stuff to use to clean out sorry. sorry repost this. any have ideas to clean out the motor
