I see a little metal tab, secured by one screw, that seems to hold the rear axle in place.
I haven't messed with it yet. But, if you just remove the axle, and the wheels just slide on, that would be great!
It's funny how there seems to be so much Eureka conversation on here right now. Then, this machine, which I thought I'd never see again, just pops up!
And I almost didn't go to the store that day. And, while at the store, I almost didn't go back to where the vacuums are; because they rarely have anything but maybe a filthy, late model bagless or two.
This time, they had the Eureka, a Kirby Ultimate G with the shampoo accessories, (and possibly more), in their box for $35, a Panasonic upright of some sort. And a Hoover FloorMate, which is something that I was looking for, not too long ago. But, I since picked up a Bissell CrossWave.
I'm going to vacuum a few spider webs off the Eureka, and try to get a few pictures.
