house brand names

hi charles
yes mate unusual to see an electrolux with a house brand name. but as i said to the guys already i am still trying to find info on "TRIDENT" i havent seen 1 for thirty plus years. they were popular from about the late 60s, three families at least in my street had them. Basically they were an electrolux z80 done in yellow and white with "TRIDENT"along the sides of the case where "ELECTROLUX" normally is and i think a trident fork symbol.Like the Challenge I dont know much about them but there were qquite a few about so i would say more chance of finding out how they came to be. speak to you soon charles take care

Went in the bin eventually, was years ago mate.

I've got a Lux Z345 and a ZC90 and they're more or less identical mechanically :P so I think I've more or less made up for the loss ;]

This cleaner isn't mine btw guys but is from the "picsforhooverland" yahoo group, i'm sure the lucky owner wouldn't mind me using it's image to "further the cause" :]

blue junior

hi Ian
wow! is that a late junior i remember those.I dont remember it in that colour mind.Is that the type that took a pan converter rather than a front twist jobbie?
si

Yeah mate that design is the last of the Proper Juniors, 1978 to 1988 I believe, it uses the pan convertor. I at first thought this was a shoddy respray til I saw more than one in this scheme.

Quite an oddity wouldn't you say? ;]

Marvellously well preserved too, the bulldog sticker on my Senior Powerplus (brown and cream one) is all faded.
