Alright so I wanted to start a carpet cleaning business. But I don't have a machine a long time ago or maybe even today there's got to be away to professionaly and effectively clean carpeta without a machine but how? This would only be a temporary situation until I can get an extractor or credit for a truck mount any ideas extremely welcome and appreciated

If I were a potential customer, I would expect you to have good equipment and to be well trained. I don't know your background, so I may be off base. Perhaps you are an expert at carpets and carpet cleaning. Otherwise, you might want to consider working for one of the big companies to learn the business until you can raise the capital for your own business.

Just looking at the average numbers: average annual revenues for a ChemDry franchise were $264,000. Average income after expenses was around $101,000. Based on these potentially skewed numbers, there was around $163,000 in expenses per year per franchise.

As an aside, I have to say that ChemDry is being potentially dishonest/misleading by presenting mean values for likely highly skewed data. I suspect there are a lot of franchises barely scraping by and a much smaller percent doing very well. It's kind of like the University of North Carolina bragging that cultural geography majors in the 1985 class of UNC had an average yearly income that is over 1 million dollars. Take away Michael Jordon and the UNC average falls dramatically. A more honest presentation would include median and possibly other quartile values to get at more typical results.
