Can anybody help me

Hey guys I bought a hoover 700 from tom anderson at his garage sale. I got it home and started polishing and i went to put in new bristles I heard a crack and the bristle strips snapped in half. DOes anybody on vacuumland have a long bristle that fits in. I want to use this machine so much but it it broken. Does anybody out there have one. I would even buy a whole agitator.

there should be a pair on ebay look under Hoover model 700 I saw a pair a couple of days ago
