So I drove 2 North Baltimore & found a NIB Compact at the St Vincent de Paul thrift store. Its a gold C8 with all accessories, PN & non-electric hose (has the cord strapped onto the outside of hose
Its my 1st time going 2 a thrift store since Covid (I last stopped at the Goodwill in Bowling Green B4 the lockdown)
I also found a Capehart console stereo with BSR 3 speed record changer. The right speaker sounds weak, the SP20 45 RPM adapter is broken & it needs a new needle (stylus). I'll have to grease the changer components (but afraid to break a part). The controls (bass, treble, volume & balance) make static noise when I adjust any of the buttons
The SVDP store also had a painting of the Roberts IGA grocery store (built around 1976; has been remodeled a # of times since, & became Great Scot community markets around 2007)
