I have had this machine for about a year. I figured this weekend I would dive into it, and see what lies under all of the yuck and years of junk! It turns out that the machine was just really dirty. The machine has not seen much use...the parts are not worn, and not a thing on this vacuum is really "broken". I have a small fracture on the headlight lens, and I am missing the dial cover on the speed switch. Other than that, this machine is now beautiful again!

Please Kyle, tell us more about the Bison. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THESE ARE... I have never heard of these!!! WONT ANYBODY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THESE MYSTERY VACUUM CLEANERS. IS THERE ANYONE THAT WE CAN TURN TO TO LEARN ABOUT THESE?!!

@opelgtkarl

There are a few threads about these on here. Just do a google search and click on the link to show all vacuumland.org results. Apparently They are somehow related to Kirby and a squabble between two of their engineers (or something like that) so one left and started another company.

I've always loved the look of these. They look straight out of War of the World's or any other 1950's Sci-Fi classic!
