I almost had a major meltdown this morning... The stove's controller display just said "4." Not good.
The last time that happened, we needed to get a new digital control panel to the tune of $200.00. Great. Two days before I begin preparing Thanksgiving dinner.
Well, Arlee suggested unplugging and re-plugging the store. Glory Be! That worked. The display is back to normal.
Of course, I don't know what caused it to misbehave in the first place and will be sweating and praying that it doesn't malfunction between now and Thursday.......
It's a very ordinary, BOL, no-frills Frigidaire/Electrolux gas stove, probably about 10 years old that the apartment came with.
