Hey peeps.. which brand of f&g bags are best to use? I know there's tons of generic brands plus of course the genuine eureka/sanitaires.. any suggestions?

Best Filtering vs. Best Value

For better filtering, I like Sanitaire F&G allergy filtration bags. The Eureka "Filteraire" bags also seem to do well. I use Sanitaire bags in my F&G machine at home. At work I run cheap F&G bags in my two vacuums. Right now, I'm using the basic Eureka branded bags, though I've also used Envirocare bags in those machines as well. I picked up 20 Eureka brand F&G bags for $15 at Amazon, which at $0.75 per bag is a reasonable cost for bags that I quickly use and dispose of at work. Not much use in ponying up for allergy filtration bags that cost $2.00 per bag at work, as the clay dust tracked in by the students tends to block my bags up rather quickly.

For my Royal I buy the Royal, not that much more than the vac store brand that they all offer, not sure its better of course.

I've found that the best paper bag you can use is the eureka filteraire bags, there are HEPA bags available but they're around $5-$6 a bag. For the best value I prefer the Arm&Hammer f&g, I found that they are made by eureka and when I compared them to eureka standard bags they where identical. the only other f&g I've had experience with is envirocare and they where made with a rougher paper that I believe wouldn't filter as well as the others.

I have only used the Arm and Hammer bags and like them. It takes a while before they start to smell, which is nice since these bags are large and don't get changed as often.
