What are you all using in your Kenmore/Panasonic vacuums?

I have not been using my Progressive lately because I ran out of bags. I always used the yellow Allergen Filtration bags, but awhile back Sears discontinued them and the white basic bags and now only make white Allergen Filtration bags. My mom bought them and they feel thinner to me than the old ones, and while it doesn't really matter, it lost a bit of its nostalgic appeal to me. Really the Rug Doctor allergen bags seem just as good. I am thinking about going with the HEPA cloth bags my machine is really meant to use but at $20 for 6 it seems like a waste of money. I was recommended some aftermarket cloth bags a few years ago.

I also am planning to try the method of vacuuming up baking soda after the bags fill, which I was told about recently here. That's another reason I've stopped using the Kenmore canisters - the bags stink after a few days and the exhaust gives off a terrible musty odor, this didn't happen before we had a pet.

My Eureka The Boss doesn't have this issue at all as I use the Eureka Arm & Hammer bags in it. I never notice the smell with that.

Hmm

We sell a lot of envirocare bags for kenmore we have them in both paper and Hepa. Locals are just happy we have bags to fit kenmore.
